This session will highlight available freeware tools that can be used to conduct a preliminary risk assessment before submitting new chemical notifications to the U.S. EPA to anticipate potential regulatory concerns and identify critical outcomes. Speakers will highlight useful approaches and predictive tools from the U.S. EPA and OECD to help identify risk-prone activities, identify targeted testing that may be useful, and potentially reduce the U.S. EPA review time by decreasing the need for back and forth communication during the notification period.
